Mark your calendar, Saturday and Sunday, April 12 & 13, and join the Bainbridge Graduate Institute (BGI) as one of three major partners who are helping to launch the first annual Seattle Green Festival to be held in the Northwest. BGI will be front and center as you walk in at booth #718. Please stop by and say hi. Find out what fun and insightful speakers and activities BGI has planned at their larger booth space (#933 & #934) located near the main speaker stage towards the back in the Green Career and Education section. Join us there and sit down for a while and learn more about the school, meet alumni, and hear a variety of interesting speakers, like Amory Lovins of RMI and Jim Poss, inventor of the BigBelly Solar Trash Compactor.
Green Festivals have quickly become the best way to learn about the
Green Economy. This emerging economic activity incorporates social and
environmental concerns in the design of business. This economy is often
referred to as the triple bottom line, meaning people, planet &
profit. This approach to business is a more fair, holistic way of
operating business than the normal ‘bottom line.’
Please come out and join us. There are wonderful speakers all weekend
long like Amory Lovins of RMI, Amy Goodman, Gifford Pinchot, Thom
Hartman, David Korten, Riane Eisler, Annie Leonard - The Story of
Stuff, Billy Frank Jr. of the Nisqually Tribe, Quest for the Truth as
well as many more speakers. There will be lots of vendors and exhibits
educating us about what new green and eco products and services are
available.
The organizers have consistently kept the cost of admission very
nominal. A weekend pass at the Washington State Convention & Trade
Center, 800 Convention Place, Seattle, is $15. Hope to see you there!
